Checking and Replacing Fuses in GMC Envoy XUV

The wiring circuits in the vehicle are protected from short circuits by a combination of fuses and circuit breakers. This greatly reduces the chance of damage caused by electrical problems.

Look at the silver-colored band inside the fuse. If the band is broken or melted, replace the fuse.

Caution!

Spilling liquid on any electrical components on your vehicle may damage it.
Always keep the covers on any electrical component.
Be sure you replace a bad fuse with a new one of the identical size and rating.

Location of Fuse Boxes

Engine Compartment Fuse Block: GMC Envoy XUV (2004-2006): Engine compartment fuse box location

To Access:

Remove the primary cover by pressing the two locking tabs.
Remove the secondary cover by snapping off while lifting.

Rear Underseat Fuse Block:
The rear underseat fuse block is located under the rear seat on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
