Checking and Replacing Fuses in Ford Focus (EU)

If electrical components in the vehicle are not working, a fuse may have blown. Blown fuses are identified by a broken wire within the fuse.

Caution!

Always replace a fuse with one that has the specified amperage rating. Using a fuse with a higher amperage rating can cause severe wire damage and could start a fire.
To reduce risk of electrical shock, always replace the cover to the power distribution box before reconnecting the battery or refilling fluid reservoirs.

Location of Fuse Boxes

Passenger Compartment Fuse Box:
The fuse box is below the glove compartment.
Ford Focus (EU) (C519; 2022-2024): Passenger compartment fuse panel location

Under Hood Fuse Box:

Pull the latch toward you and remove the top cover.
Pull the connector lever upward.
Pull the connector upward to remove it.
Pull both latches toward you and remove the fuse box.
Turn the fuse box over and open the lid.

Trailer Tow Module Fuse Box – 5- Door and Wagon:
The fuse box is in the luggage compartment on the right-hand side.

Fold back the carpet under the glove compartment.
Carefully remove the cover.
