Checking and Replacing Fuses in Ford EcoSport

If electrical components in the vehicle are not working, a fuse may have blown. Blown fuses are identified by a broken wire within the fuse. Check the appropriate fuses before replacing any electrical components.

Caution!

Always replace a fuse with one that has the specified amperage rating. Using a fuse with a higher amperage rating can cause severe wire damage and could start a fire.
Always disconnect the battery before servicing high current fuses.
To reduce risk of electrical shock, always replace the cover to the power distribution box before reconnecting the battery or refilling fluid reservoirs.
Any improper modification to the electrical system can compromise the safety of the vehicle, implying risk of fire or engine damage. For any clarifications or questions, contact a Ford Distributor.

Location of Fuse Boxes

Passenger Compartment Fuse Box:
This fuse box is located behind the glove box. To access the fuse box, do the following:
Ford EcoSport (2018-2022): Passenger compartment fuse panel location

Open the glove box and release the clips.
Remove the storage compartment.

Engine Compartment Fuse Box:
This fuse box is located in the engine compartment.

Battery Fuse Box:
This fuse box in attached to the battery positive terminal.
