Chevrolet Volt (2011-2015)

Checking and Replacing Fuses in Chevy Volt

Replace a bad fuse with a new one of the identical size and rating. A fuse puller is located in the engine compartment fuse block.

Caution!

Do not exceed the specified amperage rating when replacing fuses and circuit breakers. Use of an oversized fuse or circuit breaker can result in a vehicle fire.

Location of Fuse Boxes

Instrument Panel Fuse Block (Left Side):
The instrument panel fuse block is on the driver side end of the instrument panel. To access the fuses, open the fuse panel door by pulling out. Instrument Panel Fuse Block (Right Side):

Engine Compartment Fuse Block:
To open the fuse block cover, press the clips at the front and back and rotate the cover up to the side.Chevrolet Volt (2011-2015): Engine compartment fuse box location

Rear Compartment Fuse Block:
The rear compartment fuse block is on the left side of the rear compartment behind a removable cover. Open the latch to remove the cover and access the fuse block.Chevrolet Volt (2011-2015): Rear compartment fuse box location
