Fuse Box Diagrams Chevrolet Trax (2017-2022)

In this article, you will find information about the fuses of the Chevrolet Trax (models 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022), including diagrams of the fuse boxes, a list of fuses and relays, their designation, and the location of the fuse blocks within the vehicle.

Chevrolet Trax (2017-2022)

Checking and Replacing Fuses in Chevy Trax

  1. Turn off the vehicle.
  2. Locate the fuse puller in the engine compartment fuse block.
  3. Use the fuse puller to remove the fuse from the top or side.
  4. If the fuse must be replaced immediately, borrow a replacement fuse with the same amperage from the fuse block. Choose a vehicle feature that is not needed to safely operate the vehicle. Repeat Steps 2-3.
  5. Insert the replacement fuse into the empty slot of the blown fuse.

To check a fuse, look at the silver-colored band inside the fuse. If the band is broken or melted, replace the fuse. Be sure to replace a bad fuse with a new one of the identical size and rating. Fuses of the same amperage can be temporarily borrowed from another fuse location, if a fuse goes out. Replace the fuse as soon as possible.

Caution!

Fuses and circuit breakers are marked with their ampere rating. Do not exceed the specified amperage rating when replacing fuses and circuit breakers. Use of an oversized fuse or circuit breaker can result in a vehicle fire.

Location of Fuse Boxes

Instrument Panel Fuse Block:
The instrument panel fuse block is on the underside of the driver side instrument panel. To access the fuses, remove the storage compartment. To remove the storage compartment, push in on both side and pull it out.Chevrolet Trax (2017-2022): Instrument panel fuse box location

Engine Compartment Fuse Block:

Rear Compartment Fuse Block:
