Fuse Box Diagrams Chevrolet Colorado (2004-2006)

In this article, you will find information about the fuses of the Chevrolet Colorado (models 2004, 2005, and 2006), including diagrams of the fuse boxes, a list of fuses and relays, their designation, and the location of the fuse blocks within the vehicle.

Checking and Replacing Fuses in Chevy Colorado

The wiring circuits in your vehicle are protected from short circuits by a combination of fuses and circuit breakers. This greatly reduces the chance of fires caused by electrical problems. Look at the silver-colored band inside the fuse. If the band is broken or melted, replace the fuse. Be sure you replace a bad fuse with a new one of the identical size and rating.

Caution!

Fuses and circuit breakers are marked with their ampere rating. Do not exceed the specified amperage rating when replacing fuses and circuit breakers. Use of an oversized fuse or circuit breaker can result in a vehicle fire.

Location of the Fuse Box

The engine compartment fuse block is located on the driver’s side of the engine compartment. To remove the cover, push in on the tab on the end of the cover and lift. To reinstall the cover, line up the tab and push down on the cover until the tab clicks into place.Chevrolet Colorado (2004-2006): Under-hood compartment fuse box location
